How True Is The Hogwarts House Quiz?

Harry Potter is one of the most famous books that you wouldn’t believe J.K. Rowling thought it up on a train!

Most of us have taken quizzes to find out which House, wand, or magical pet we would have.

But if you’re reading this, it’s probably because you’ve come across the same issue as have most of the Potter-verse fans: House sorting discrepancy. One of the essential features of being a Potterhead is knowing which House you belong to, but the results online are showing some discrepancies.

No two websites show the same result, and the same website shows two different results at times.

Most of the questions don’t have much to do with the Potter-verse at all. Personal choices like favourite colour and food can’t influence whether you’re a Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, right?

So which house are we really in? Who can solve this problem for us?

Fear not, my fellow Potterhead. Keep reading as we break down the statistics behind the sorting quiz. The Sorting Hat is never wrong!

How it works

Like most poll-based systems, the Harry potter House Quiz works on an algorithm. It’s not the same algorithm for all quiz websites, but no site functions without one.

These algorithms work on a preset notion of the four houses; that is, certain answers are for Slytherin, others for Hufflepuff, for Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor.

So, each time you answer a question, the algorithm adds points to the column of the corresponding House, and at the end of the quiz, it shows you the house for which you scored maximum points.

While this is pretty standard, there is a slight issue here that is causing all these different results to show up every time.

What is the problem?

Most of us aren’t 100% of either house. We all have bits of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, and these sides show up in different circumstances. These also influence the answers you give.

That makes the chances of getting into your dream house difficult because while you may think you’re answering every question Gryffindor-style, the result might be Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, maybe even Slytherin. While there is nothing wrong with any of the houses, if we have one in mind, getting into another house can be a bit disarming.

So, what can we do?

They have updated their quiz questions as of 2021 and added more options. This is the one.

Not only is it super fun to play, as all harry potter quizzes are, it also asks pretty relevant questions that can determine your House, such as which portion you’d like to have, who your favourite teacher is, and more. It asks 20 questions in total, and most of them are pretty good determinants of what Hogwarts House you belong to.

So, what are you waiting for? Get quizzing; your Hogwarts House awaits!

Dealing With Sciatica And Pregnancy Back Pain Problems

What is CBD cream? Well if you are facing an issue with the back pain, or muscle pain or even neuropathy pain; then cbd cream is very trusted product that you should definitely use for treating such issues. Sciatica and pregnancy really do not have anything to do with each other when you first think about it, but they often occur at the same time for a lot of women. During pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through a lot of different changes, and one of these is the sporadic acting up of the sciatica nerve. In fact, if you already have sciatica issues prior to pregnancy, you can almost certainly expect your problems to escalate considerably while you are pregnant.

How to Deal with Sciatica Issues During Pregnancy

The main problem with sciatica and pregnancy is that you can never really tell if you are at risk of suffering from this painful condition. Of course, if you already know that you do have sciatica issues, you can already expect the worst, especially during the final months of your pregnancy. But even women who have never had any sciatica problems before may still be at risk due to several other factors. For example, as your baby grows inside your uterus, it will gradually push harder against your sciatica nerve, causing considerable pain in your back and nearby areas.

While you are still in the stages of planning a pregnancy, or even if you are not thinking of conceiving in the near future but are of child-bearing age, you should really look into the relationship between sciatica and pregnancy. Being equipped with adequate knowledge is the best way you can prepare yourself for the possibility of sciatica and pregnancy occurring at the same time.

According to health experts, one of the most recommended preventive measures against sciatica problems during pregnancy is to sleep on your side on a comfortable bed. With this position, the pressure is taken off your back and your internal organs and the baby are kept from pressing against your sciatic nerve.

Although the sciatic nerve is located in the back, some pregnant women report that the pain actually begins in other parts of the body, like the buttocks, thighs or ankles. The reason for this is that the sciatic nerve actually has a lot of nerve branches that travel along these other areas. In order to relieve the pain, the best solution would be to do a little bit of stretching three times a day or more, focusing on the back and legs.

A very important thing to remember about sciatica and pregnancy is to never take any pain medication without first consulting your doctor. Oftentimes, it may be better to just bear the pain than to risk the health of your unborn child.
